Refund Policy
How refunds work for RealmConquest purchases, processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record, including the 14-day refund window, digital-content withdrawal rights, and how to request a refund.
Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases made in RealmConquest, including the Beta Founder Pack and any other paid features SOIVIS may offer.
Purchases are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) as our payment processor and Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the authorized reseller and seller of record for your purchase, and Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy apply alongside this policy. Refunds are issued by Paddle, and a charge from Paddle (for example, “Paddle.net”) may appear on your statement.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have under the consumer law of your country or region.
What you are buying
RealmConquest is free to play. Paid features are optional, non-pay-to-win, and currently consist of the one-time Beta Founder Pack, which grants a permanent account entitlement and digital cosmetics rather than a competitive advantage.
Because these purchases unlock digital content and account entitlements that are made available to you immediately, the timing rules below are important to your refund rights.
14-day refund window
You may request a refund within 14 days of the date of your transaction. Within that window, refunds are considered by Paddle on a case-by-case basis and may be granted at its discretion.
Requests made after 14 days are not guaranteed to be considered, except where a longer period is required by applicable law. We and Paddle may decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
Digital content and withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days for any reason.
However, RealmConquest purchases unlock digital content and account entitlements immediately. By completing a purchase and starting to use, download, or benefit from that content, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. Where delivery has not begun, the 14-day withdrawal right still applies.
How to request a refund
The fastest way to request a refund is through Paddle, which handles the transaction:
- Open the order or receipt email Paddle sent you after purchase and use the “View receipt” or order-management link.
- Or go to Paddle’s buyer portal at paddle.net and select the “Request refund” option for your order.
- You can also contact RealmConquest Support and we will help you raise the request with Paddle. Please include your account email and the Paddle order or receipt reference.
How approved refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method where possible, normally within 14 days of the refund being approved. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider.
When a purchase is refunded, the related entitlement, cosmetics, or paid features are removed from your account. Refunding the Beta Founder Pack, for example, ends Founder status and the perks tied to it.
Taxes
As Merchant of Record, Paddle calculates, collects, and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST on your purchase. Where a purchase is refunded, any tax charged on it is refunded together with the purchase amount in accordance with Paddle’s policy and applicable law.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us or Paddle first — most issues can be resolved quickly without a chargeback. If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, access to the related entitlement or paid features may be suspended while the matter is reviewed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy as RealmConquest and our payment arrangements change. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the site, account notices, or another reasonable method. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
