Fantasy Map, Onboarding Aide, Notifications Redesign, Community Forums, and Fixes
Today's release adds the new Fantasy map to the Fantasy 1 test realm, tightens site placement boundaries, and revamps the full onboarding process: the original screen-dimming tutorial is replaced by an advisor who coaches you. Alongside it, the Notifications panel has been updated to be a closer companion to Live Alerts, the new community forums are live, and a few Ion Cannon bugs are fixed.
Highlights
First project-specific art
The Fantasy map is the first piece of art created specifically for RealmConquest. It is available to review now on the Fantasy 1 test realm.
Meet your advisor, Don Trask
The dimmed screen tutorial is gone. In its place is a non-blocking advisor who greets and guides you.
Notifications panel redesigned
The existing Notifications panel has been revamped to live alongside the Live Alerts model: now carries the history, archive, category colours, unread state, and actions.
Forums
The new community Discourse forums are live at /community. They are still being fully implemented and organized, but they share a single account with the game.
Ion Cannon target fixes
Ion Cannon targeting now handles hostile units on relics and garrisons consistently with colonies and outposts, while hiding invalid actions on wreckage and your own moving squads.
New changelog formatting
Patch notes are now separated from the devlog.
